Do you drag your knees when cornering on the road?

Hello, just wondered who actually does this on the road when cornering? I lean in pretty far and transfer my weight but have never actually done it.

I have little to no chicken strips on my tyres so i know I lean well but just never actually dragged a knee. I just don't see the point unless you're on a track and actually need to like Moto GP, BSB etc.

Basically i'm asking what advantage would i have in sticking my knee out in a corner?

Thanks

You could do a search... but basically the conclusion is this:

You can get your knee down on the road, there is little point as on track it's used to judge lean angle really. Hanging off IS useful, and will allow you to corner faster using less lean for the same speed.
