I have a '99 Kaw Concours (ZG1000).
The fuel tank cap is seized ( I think it is gas residue), and I can't turn the key (it bends and I have no desire to break it off). I've take out the allen screws, but I know there is a lock screw--UNDER the locking cap So I can't get it out.

Seems like the only option is to remove the whole thing. How do I remove the whole thing without damaging the tank?

Sorry about my incorrect English.

The fuel cap needs to be pressed down firmly while you try turning the key back an fourth.

That did the trick for me!
