Ive got a 95 ZX6 with a bad motor rod went through the case.Does anyone know if a 96 ZX6R engine is compatible with my 95 ZX6 frame?

I'm assuming you have a ZX-6R, or "F" model. There were some minor differances on the crankcases and frame with the 95, and some other internal engine differances. I believe the engines will interchange as an assembly with the 96 and 97's, but I have not personally tried it. Perhaps someone else will know for certain.
