Hi all,
I have a 1999 kx 250. I've been doing a refresh on it because of an oil leak in the crankcase. It has wiseco crank and piston. When putting the case together the transmission was not rotating freely. Pulled it apart, checked the gears, shift drum, all looked fine. It still felt rough....could't turn it by hand...figured it may have been in gear. Reassembled the engine...still real tight. I cant seem to find neutral. When the clutch is pulled in the engine turns over almost like normal (with the kickstart) Without holding the clutch in it takes almost all my weight to kick it over. Please help
100% its something to do with the clutch or transmission
Am I going to have to split the case again.
PS recently moved and the only thing that was lost in the move was my box of parts/car manuels....so my clymers is gone along with all my other auto books....lame
