burtonyota 09-25-2008, 10:04 PM My 87 kx 250 has a broken RH exhaust power valve, the valve is now discontinued. Im having a hard time locating this valve everyone tells me i cant get it. Look in the back of Cycle News. I would try these guys first: "Keep-it-Roostin." Their number is 704-279-0514. If they don't have it, they might be able to dirrect you to someone who does. I think they also sell on E-Bay. I was wrong. It appears the 87 is differant from other years. The piston, cylinder, and base gasket are all differant from 86, and 87. It appears from the manuals, that if you had an entire and complete 86 top end, it MIGHT be adaptable. Not I bet I would make though. Looks like the only cylinder that will work on an 87, is an 87.
