I have a 2005 800 volcan. I changed the exhuast on my bike from vance and hines staggard straights, to hard chrome american classics and I have flames shooting out of them when I let off of the throttle. my other question is the gasket for the exhaust,. All the exhoust I have had on this bike have had a gasket right on the pipe the inserts into the jug. These pipes just have a flush connection. Will the stock gasket work? or do i have to take different measures?

Goose I'm assuming that your bike is fuel injected? If so a power commander with the correct map loaded on to it should resolve your issue. If not change the jets. Those flames are unburned fuel. I had the same problem with my busa. When I was letting off the throttle I would have flames coming out the pipes. I put on a pc and it resolved it.
