: '85 454 Sloppy Shifter Question igya 01-14-2009, 02:48 PM This '85 454 has a VERY sloppy shift lever even though it shifts okay. The foot lever has about 4 inches of travel, but it does shift. There seems to be VERY little spring action keeping the lever in the center position. Is there a website that offers a parts catalog or even an exploded view of the engine.
