Yea, Shinko is a pretty (easy on the wallet) priced tire...and they have a long lasting life...especially the 009

One of my drag racing buddies says that the 009 front doesn't last as long as the 007...so that's why i got the 007 front...just an fyi

let me know what you think when you get them out on the road...

Will do, I read an article in Kneedragers and they said the 009 is the best tire dollar for dollar. I didnt hear about the front tire but I am informed now... Thanks, ?26

Oh yeah, avatar. This pic is pre shinko- stock rubber, pre bolt on 12" baffle/muffler, and most importantly pre theft! Lucky me the arsehole panicked when I ran after him. He floored it, tire of trailer hit manhole cover- bike bounced of and hit the pavement. After acheiving a height of 8' maybe a tad more. $4878.25 estimate. I did get that jerks plate number, we go to trial April 6.

Its the 03 Galaxy Silver. Just picked it up over the winter in January and have only ridden it maybe 1K miles so far. A purely sublime bike man. Previous bike was a 95 zx6r. No mods yet on the current bike, maybe over the winter though we'll see. Thanks for the welcome. Looks like we'll just have to be patient and build this thing up from the ground. Good looking website and i could swear i came here a year or so ago and there were lots o people here. I could be wrong though. My usual website just got blocked here at work so i came here. And by the way im really not much of a sinner but youd think so after talking to people who ive talked to since ive gotten a bike. Some people just think its evil or something if you ride. Then on top of that us sportbikers get a bad rap due to all the freakin squids out there. Dont get me wrong i still pull tripple digits when i can but i go out in the country for that shyt and i dont do 80mph wheelies while weaving in and out of traffic down the interstate. Gotta have some common sense on these things. Oh yea, i also just got some Bridgestone BT-016's fitted and holy crap they are sweet. I thought the Conti Sport A's i had on the last bike were nice but these blow the Conti's away.

thats awesome! yeah definitely gotta have a lot of common sense and +1 on all the squids out there. i think you were right about a lot of people being here last year...i looked back on all the posts and everyone ive checked so far hasnt logged on in months or almost a year, its just a ghost town here. it will for sure grow though, if you have any friends that ride bring 'em on over! and definitely get some pics up! :cool:

Wow, another Galaxy Silver Ninja.......I am liking this already.....3 amigos with 2 Ninjas......Skateboard852??, if you get Suzi we'll have to disown you, especially from KawasakiForum....:D......you must get yourself a Ninja and Galaxy Silver.....my brother bought ZX14 and guess what, you got it, Galaxy Silver.......so now we have 636Sinner, my brother & you with ZX636, ZX6R, ZX12R & ZX14, all we need is one more Galaxy Silver ZX10R and we are in good shape.....:D

My bike came with Dunlap 200 tires and I ate that tire up so bad, lasted me 3k miles....I don't burn out at all for the fact that my bike can do it without trying......so no need to prove it.....but whenever I take off fast my tire will spin and ate it up. After my second Dunlap I switched to Maxxis SuperMaxxis and been happy with it but they stopped making them so my next tire will be Shinko tire, many folks have nothing but good thing to say about it.....

And if i had any friends id tell em to come here but i only have a few (my how things change as you get older) and none of them ride. And if i werent the black sheep in the family before i got mine, i sure as hell am now.:D They just dont know what to think of me. When you say motorcycle around my town most people imediately think Harley. I live in a hardcore Harley town. Its all good though. Yea i gotta stop slacking on the pics, ill get some taken this weekend. Went out for a 100 mile ride yesterday out in the country and forgot the camera. Was totally kicking myself.

+1 im only 20 (almost 21) and i dont have many friends anymore..i lost 'em all after high school!

Not sure if they make a 10R in Galaxy Silver but they should!!!! Ive always been partial to the Kawi orange color too. Im probably also one of not many people who likes both Ninjas and Gixxers. I dont care what people say, Suzi makes a damn fine bike IMO and i damn near bought one and may very well get one down the line. Id LOVE to have a 750 one day and honestly i really like the latest design of the Gixxers. Love the headlight, tail area and everything. A guy at the dealership pointed out that on the latest Gixxers you wont have to buy any integrated light or anything for the tail because its already done. Thats a good selling point for Suzuki if you ask me. Especially when you factor in how much that stuff costs to buy aftermarket. I love some friendly rivalry/trash talking though and always welcome all opinions and understand that some people are just die hard Ninja people and aint nuthin wrong with that. I certainly like to rep what i ride.

I hear you both....I road all kinds of bikes and my favorite is Ninja, been that way since I was a kid......but like I have always said, if someone walks up to me and said I sell you my Gixxer for some ridiculous price that I can't refuse I am a proud owner of a Suzi.....and I also like Busa so I am not just die hard Ninja fan....but if I have to use my hard earn cash on one I rather have a Ninja...again I have no problem with any bikes, as long as they have 2 wheels I like them all......my next bike is custom chopper with 350 rear tire and 130 cu in S&S motor, pushing 250HP.....my dream bike, like I said DREAM bike so if I win a lotto that will be my next bike I get along with ZX14 & Busa....I will keep my ZX12R, since they don't make them anymore.....one of a kind bike....love that bike :D

looks the dogs bollocks to me.i,am waiting for a reply to my question.clutch noise from zx12r.i have renewed clutch plates/springs.there is alot of play from clutch basket.still get vibration under load from clutch cover.its ok on fast idle.engine sounds ok.on low idle sounds rumbley,goes off when you pull clutch in. any ideas hobby zx12r.

I agree with that, we are not have enough members in this forum. We need to do something. Suggest something good guys.
