May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, so we thought we'd get share some advice on safe riding.

Motorcyclists know how much skill is required in riding. You have to be aware of your bike, the road, the traffic around you, and most importantly, yourself, when you get behind the handlebars.

This information is a must for all riders.....sometimes your ego gets in your way and make a mistake and you are down......we must respect our bikes, and next others around us (they are much bigger than us). There have been close calls on the road several times for me, people cut me off and there isn't anything I can do....just suck it up and go about my way, at least I live to talk about it :mad:

You have more visibility near the center line than any where else. Not only can you see why the happy breaker in front of you is breaking but on coming cars thinking of overtaking can see you as well as you see them. Riding toward the inner line is very very dangerous and is he reason for many of the Moped, and motorcycle accidents in Hawaii. Riding near the inner line takes you way out of the field of view, but you don't have to take my word for it, and good luck finding out in your own way.:p
