Hi everybody
thought I would say alittle about my self i actually dont have a bike as of yet but Im taking the "Team Oregon Motorcycle Safety" class here next couple of weeks but im eyein a 2007 Ninja 500R that my friend is selling. I have rode before my same friend taught me alittle on riding on his R1 till my wrist twitched and then got to watch the bike flip out from underneath me.....yea....needless to say probably wasnt the best bike to learn on ;) but im really excited to learn. I am currently a student at Oregon State University going for my BS in Electrical Engineering. With being an engineering student comes the stupid habit of doing research on something that intrests me so thought I would look through here to learn some stuff the class doesnt teach ya. Ive always been involved with some motor sport in my life mostly autocross, I am also apart of the OSU Formula Racing team right now.....um only current vehicle is my 98 z28 so having a bike to help with gas would be perfect :cool:
so first question my girl wanted to by me gear for my B-day and i was lookin at Shoei helmets and a frank thomas jacket and gloves are these ok brands to go with?
