I am at my wits end with a problem that two shops can't figure out. I have a 1996 KZ1000P. When it warms up is misses arcoss all 4 cylinders. The idle rpm's drop in 1/2 and when driving it slows and speeds up even when holding the throttle constant. Since it occurrs across all 4 cylinders we don't think it is the coils as it would be remarkable for them both to be bad like this. I have put in new plugs of the correct spec. We have replaced all plug wires and put on new boots. My last effort was to replace the $400 ignitor. It still does it. Shop indicates they don't know what to do next. Can anyone shed any light on this issue. I called Kawasaki and they blew me off since I am not a dealer "only the owner".
