Hello everyone, I am new to this Forum, been riding for quite sometime. I ride '04 ZX12R, bought it new and been very happy with it since. I started out with Honda 50cc then Yamaha 125cc then Suzuki 750cc and many other bikes in between......but been Kawasaki fan for a long time.....I love Ninja bikes, one of a kind, always wanted one since I was a kid, I am a proud owner of one now :D

unfortunately i dont have a bike at the moment, due to finances not being so good :( but hopefully soon i can get one! im looking at either an all black zx-6r or maybe even the lime green :) or k6/k7 suzuki gsxr :D it all depends on what kind of deal i can get.

I hear you, Economy is still in a bad stage for all of us....I have to hold off on many mods I want done on my ZX12R & Hemi truck but those are just extra money I don't need to spend anyhow....

I like to get me a decent used ZX10R as my play bike......I need to go play Lotto with all these toys I want......

Don't be, having a bike is not all that anyhow, you have to replace tires, oil change, spark plug change, valve adjustment, chain replacement, never ending.....need $$$ for all that so be happy that you don't have one yet and when you have one you will have the funds to do all that......;)

sounds like my POS car though! everytime i fix one thing something else needs fixed or replaced! id rather invest on the bike! haha i know what you mean though, i hear ya :cool:

Don't deal with Kelly's Kawasaki sales reps, they are bunch of money hungry people.....they treat you very bad, they expect everyone to be stupid like them. As soon as they feel you are smart, they don't want anything to do with you...that's why I ended up getting my bike from somewhere else.....:mad:

i know!!!! you are talking about the one on country club right?? i went there because i live close to there now and the guy thought he had me, he was ripping me off big time and telling me i was stupid for things i said, he said "get this zx6r then in about 2 months you can handle the zx14" he quoted me 3 grand over msrp for the zx6r

when i lived out by the superstition mountains i went to arizona kawasaki over on apache trail and (cant remember other street) they were very nice and didnt push me into anything, they were pretty cool people :cool:

thats awesome! and one heck of a deal! and thats weird about the test ride..because this kid i knew that went to the dealer with his friend who has a suzuki gsxr srad test rode the 2008 gsxr all he had to do was show the guy his MC license and give him the ID and he took it for a spin..

I guess they have too many squids going for test rides and can't handle the bike so they are tired of eating the cost of repairing them.....:mad:......I checked with several dealers and none of them will allow me to test ride....maybe especially on big bikes where someone can really kill themselves.....but I remember standing next to it when the mechanic started my bike up and walk me through all the accessories on it and switches.....the power from my bike gave me such thrills like I was ready to %&# in my pants :D The best feeling every....and when I actually rode my bike home.....boy, I felt like the road is all mine......but can't go over 7k on tech for 1k miles, I had couple of bikes tried to race me, one was bone stock and I ripped it, the other one was highly modified and I ripped that one also....they were both surprised......I don't know why and I don't even go pass 7k on my bike....just imagine if I let it crack all the way......

It was good that I was not able to go pass 7k, if I had done that in early stage I would be on the road with the bike on top of me......:D.....so much power behind that bile. Now with some modification and got used to it I am able to enjoy better.....love my bike :D

I was riding with my brother (ZX14), he zoomed out so I tagged along and he looked down at his speedo, guess how fast......162MPH.....and we weren't even cracked all the way.....I tell you one thing big bikes don't have to try hard to pass cars or other smaller bikes :D

Tech that was testing my bike ask if I want to see what is the top speed we can push before speed limiter shuts off 2 cylinder (per the manual 186MPH). It was exactly 186MPH when 2 cylinder shut off, tech told me there are several companies out there that sell gadget to over ride that and for me to look them up online. I did but I couldn't get firm answer to if in fact these product actually work so I don't bother with it.....not that I will ever hit 186MPH anytime soon.....:D But I found out other ways to override that top speed limiter, I will not worry about it for now. Glad to be apart of this forum, I've had many motorcycles from my 1st an 88 Yamaha YSR 50 to a 92 ZX-11. The last bike I had was a 2001 Ducati 748 and I really liked it. Had to sell to keep my home, divorce does that, now I own my home. Got the bug to ride again and I thought what the coolest and most fun bike I had ever owned, for I have owned 15+ motorcycles. I searched the LWR-48 and found my new but 20 year old ZX-7 w/ 10k miles on it. Mint and Badged she is, and I'm as happy as a jay bird. I am looking for a full Muzzy exhaust, for it has a Yosh.
