Which do you think kicks more arse? Which would you prefer? Though this is a Kawasaki forum I personally would choose the Busa, as it looks better in my opinion. What are your thoughts? Share!

I like Kawasaki ZX14, however it really depends on the rider, if you place both same experience riders with same exact skills it will be a tough race......they both heavy bikes so around the corners I am not sure.....both strong bikes....I take them both....hehehehe!

+1 although i say id go with the busa right now, if it came down to buying i would probably have a problem picking between the two..im going to post a link below, check it out! towards the bottom of the page it shows the weight difference and the top speed difference and 1/4 mile difference, look how close it is! it very well could be the rider deciding between both machines.

I'm used to being over on the Suzi forum all the time! I can't help my love for the Suzi but I love me some ninjas just as much! And that my friend is a fact! The 14 vs the Busa has always been a big debate I thought it would be interesting to see what bike people think is on top. I know for a fact that when I saw the 14 in person I got chills and thought the thing was a monster!! Not so much on the busa..I saw the busa and just thought, crazy fast..but something about the 14 gave me the willies! :eek:

It seems like most squids get the Busa too..You never really hear of anyone getting the 14...well I don't at least! You said your brother has a 14 right? Does he ever ride all crazy like and lane split and do crazy turns in traffic?..I never ever see 14s out on the street but a few months ago I saw one...man oh man was that one hell of a show.....

My brother rides fast but not on regular roads.....only when we are out of the city we go crazy......we open up and zoom......one time we passed couple of Border Patrols and they just did not even try or care to deal with us.....we were going so fast.....they thought we were Aliens from outer space......:D:D

I bet! well I asked because like I said I dont see many 14s but I saw this one guy...holy crap..ill tell the story below:

So I'm sitting at a red light on dobson and southern at the front of the line with no cars behind me and basically I'm in the middle of the street in center lane..I'm sitting and I hear this loud ass bike coming from somewhere I look in my rear mirror and this 14 is HAULING MAJOR BALLS and isnt slowing down one bit...right behind me! I'm thinking "oh shit hes gonna hit me!" well he lane splits without slowing down and basically does a stoppie between me and the car to my right and i mean this car was close to me..he was BARELY able to fit his bike between us..well as soon as he puts the back tire down the arrow for the cars in front of me get to go and he just books it doing this illegal right hand turn from the middle of the intersection almost getting taken out by the people having the arrow..he goes wide open throttle and his back tires loses traction and he goes sideways puts his foot down and theres a cop waiting just perpendicular next to me the guy doesnt dump the bike but instead like i said he puts his foot down and keeps it up and NAILS it the cop threw his lights on then slams on his gas then maybe literally 3 seconds later he turns his lights off and just doesnt bother..there was a police helicopter in the area too..probably after him..it seemed like he was trying to get away from something...and quick..he looked like a straight up badass im not gonna lie haha he had like some vest on with a helmet and backpack and jeans, pretty much a squid but everything happened so fast hahah

anyway just thought id share the story..it was kinda exciting to see go down

i agree! some of those cops are nuts and have mad driving skills, big props to them, i wouldnt mess with them...ive seen all sorts of cool things..i saw a busa fly by on the freeway at night..so fast i jerked my head real fast to see what a jumbojet was doing on the 60 and i catch a small glimpse then look in front of me and its already a dot then like 15 seconds later a cop with sirens is flying down the freeway after him hahahah

this is one of my favorite videos. I don't think the guy knew he was being chase...but hes one hell of a rider..running stop signs at 100+ and lane splitting..well maybe he did know he was being chased? :confused: anyway it was in tucson az..its cool cuz you got the police commentary during the whole thing, just shows if they got the eye in the sky you better not mess with them!

14 all the way baby! Well its good to see SOMEONE likes the Busa! lol Its all good just different preferences in looks i guess. I hate the way the Busa looks and i think they could do a much better job on it. Perfomance wise if i remember right i thought the 14 walked all over the Busa but they are both sooooooo out of my price range i usually dont pay much attention to either. I'll say one thing a few years ago just before i started riding i saw a brand new 14 at the Taco Hell and i nearly pissed myself. I could almost feel my inner devil slapping me on the back of the head real hard saying "NOW your gonna ride! Thats IT you ARE getting a bike!"
Isnt there one of those magazine Busa vs 14 shootout or something, i could swear i maybe even have it at home. I'll look.

ZX-14 all the way! I hate the way the Busa looks, the way it rides (my brother switched sides from kawi to suzuki and got a Busa so I took his bike for a spin), and the fact that everybody and their mother has a Busa. Squids who never owned a bike before...what do they get? A Busa because its cool and they want to be like everyone else. No originality in the owners at all (my brother included lol). Kawasaki ZX-14 is where it is at.

The 'Busa is one of the crappiest looking bikes aesthetically(sp) IMO but yea i know what yer sayin Idoma.
