I've herd that vulcans can make some weird noises.Mine makes a sound like clicking from left engine cover and it kind a makes a knocking noise.The bike seems to run pretty well.It's a 92 1500.

Its better u read the manual or take it to the local mechanic. All the best.

^^I agree. I would say read the manual first, if you dont get any information here. Take it to the mechanic if needed but that is going to cost you. Before taking to the mechanic look around on the web to see if there are more articles related to your issue. Hopefully you can get it taken care of, good luck
