I bought this bicycle for my birthday two years ago because I know that Kawasaki usually produces well working equipment. Whether they are bikes or four wheelers. When I first received this Kawasaki mountain bike, I was thrilled! It was working at a tremendous pace. I was reaching high speeds and getting and easy exercise. It seemed to good to be true. Maybe that is because it was. Within a couple of weeks, the Kawasaki bike was getting some problems. The first problem came as the gear shifter stopped functioning correctly. Because the gear shifter was not working right, I was either stuck in first gear or I could not get to sixth gear. Since I could not get to sixth gear, I could not reach high speeds. Then another problem came along. The pedaling difficulty was stuck very low. Being stuck on low pedaling difficulty and being stuck in first gear is not fun. I was going about the speed of a tricycle. On top of that, the seat is not exactly what I would call comfortable. However, even though there are many things I hate about this Kawasaki bike, there are times when it works perfectly and performs at great speeds. Also, the shocks on the bike work very well.
