Hi,

I am new to the Forum and was looking for some advice on my quest to buy a 77-80 KZ1000 LTD. I sold my 77 LTD back in 1980 and have always wanted to replace her.

I am going to look at an original 77 tomorrow and wanted to know what I should inspect other than the cosmetric appearance. Is the serial number stamped on the block and where would I look for it?
Any other things or websites would be appreciated so that I can educate myself. This is a one owner bike with 8k miles on her that has been on a showroom floor for the last 10 years.
