Hey I have a 06 Ninja 650r and when I try to start the engine, it will crank a few times then there is a loud buzzing sound and everything resets. Do I just have a dead battery? This happened a few months ago but my bike just started the next day.

I have an 09' 650R, I had this problem a few times, it's the battery, almost guaranteed. Take your battery to autozone and have it checked/slow charged.
