Hi, found this forum and thought sharing my KZ a bit would be a good introduction. This is my second project bike & I spent the better part of 17 months getting from it's abandoned, mostly dissasembled state to what I have today. Bike is actully a GPZ, but I already have a red bike and fell in love with the ELR replica paint scheme offered in Europe back in 83. Eventually, I hope to restore the fuel injection too, but for now she runs on a set of BS34 carbs.

The bike is ENTIRELY rebuilt. Every nut, bolt, & part was cleaned, repaired or replaced. The engine has an 1166 Wiseco kit, stock GPZ cams & very minor head work. I believe the header is an Supertrapp race pipe, but I wish someone could confirm that.

Other than that, it is pretty stock. With the exception of covering the saddle & a bit of help clearcoating, I did all the work in my garage.

It's tough to see, but the paint is white pearl on white basecoat. Just enough pearl to set it off, (NOT like the pearl on a Lexus).
