Hi I am a beginner and I got the beginner bike ninja back in late october. I did ride it around the neighborhood before putting it away for the winter. However, I dropped it twice when goin up a hill. The bike still worked fine. Now that it is rideing season, I can't get the bike to idle. I don't know what could be wrong with it. Should I go back to the dealer or try and fix it?
Thanks

Hey Povo. It's over a month ago, but if your still out there and having trouble, try draining the carbs first. Might not do it though, and if not, and the pilot jets are varnished, as I suspect, then pick up some "Sea Foam". Mix it with the fuel in the tank and ride it a while. It should clear up the idle problem. You can get Sea Foam at many NAPA's, and auto parts stores. Some farm suppliers carry it as well. Something else that works equally well is called "Conklin 4-Power". With either product, you can mix it about twice as strong as the directions state safely.

Thanks for the help. I found out that if you don't put some stabilizer in the gas tank then the gas will clog the carb. I would think the dealer would at least mention that to me when I bought the bike, especially when I told them that i was new at riding. O well, it cost me several hundred bucks to get it cleaned out when it could have been prevented for like 10 dollars.
