Motorcycle not staying running

Hi guys,

My battery died in my 04 Ninja 500. Yesterday I boost the bike and the bike stayed running for about 2 minutes and then cut off. This happened three times yesterday. I checked and made sure there is gas in the tank.

Any idea what could be the problem? If I ride the bike would this help charge the battery?

Battery should get a charge regardless of wether you ride the bike or not. Have you had the battery tested, or tested it yourself? Also, is your fuel on/off valve on? Just some thoughts.
